Astana International Publishing was established in Kazakhstan in 2002. Since 2022, we have focused on publishing books in Russian and Kazakh languages. In the last few years, the interest in reading in the native language in Kazakhstan increased dramatically. At the same time, more than a half of readers continue to choose reading in Russian (Kazakhstan's second official language) being the most comfortable language of communication for themselves.
We want to help those people be a part of the global cultural space, regardless of where they are.
Mission
Our mission is to give Kazakh readers the opportunity to get acquainted with the best works of international literature in Russian and Kazakh languages. Our contribution to the global cultural processes is to make it possible for readers anywhere in the world to be able to read the best books in Russian. It is important to note that being a Kazakh company we pay taxes in Kazakhstan.
The company’s goal is also to maintain access to international literature for a large number of Russian-speaking readers around the world.
